For general MDOC questions, email CorrectionsInfo@michigan.gov and verify the current unit through the official MDOC contact directory. Requests about past Michigan prisoners up to six years after release may be directed to MDOC-Records_Retention@michigan.gov. The Michigan Parole Board receives correspondence at P.O. Box 30003, Lansing, MI 48909, by phone at 517-373-0270, or by fax at 517-335-0039. MI-VINE custody information is available at 800-770-7657, with TTY service at 866-847-1298. Direct victims seeking the additional MDOC notification process may call Crime Victim Services at 877-886-5401.

• For post-release supervision, use the parole and probation page and the assigned MDOC field office.
• For a same-day county question, use the Released Last 24 Hours fallback. Alger County publishes no verified feed.
• For a sentence date or notification, check the inmate release date and VINELink release check pages.

• For a sentenced Michigan prisoner, search MDOC OTIS and request state records from MDOC.
